4.1 [Preliminary Work] Thesis 1: Major Project / Thesis Materials

Module 3 feedback that Thursday, I finally got to meet Laure. It was good since we hadn’t spoken since the fall semester. She suggested I make some edits to the material matrix. She said it should not be too significant to let anyone know. However, if we did something like adding babysitting for the Mom Haven, we may have to contact William. I edited the contract to rearrange some things with the website and app. Laurie gave her feedback that the Mom App was changed to deliverable 3. She suggested that there would be a Functionality for Deliverable 3. She explained that we will work through a series of exercises to test the functionality of your interactive deliverable, which will be designated "Deliverable 3." You must work out the details of the functionality, apply an initial visual design, and finish this class with a functioning product prototype. This class will generate a lot of UX documentation; keep all your work for your process book later. In the next class, you will finish the testing and complete this deliverable. I worked on the color palette. Laurie suggested using the color of the shirt I had on, which is pretty funny because it was the color palette I had in Midpoint Review. So, I felt like Laurie and I were on the same page, especially when using Mom Burnout as the title. Also, after asking other moms doing surveying, a lot of them agreed that Mom Burnout was the better choice, and they connected with it more. One mom said why try to doll the title up when mom burnout is what it is. I also played around with some logo variations. Nothing was really catching my eye, however I had some that I preferred.
